Your Bed of Choice

I had a huge surprise last night! Our daughter has several days off and drove 12 hours to come and see us. Now tell me if that doesn't make a mom's day! Catching up on everything that has been going on in her life with lots of talking and laughing, we didn't get to bed till late. Needless to say, I'm a bit sleepy eyed today. I'm thinking one of these beds might provide a little comfy sleep time.
The Private Cloud, designed by Manuel Kloker. You could rock yourself to sleep. Not bad unless your partner doesn't like the motion!
The Molecular Bed made of 120 sofa balls with elastic fiber & created by Animi Causa an Isreali designer. Now this one really intriqued me...doesn't it look like you could just slip away?

Cinderella never had it so good! The Fantacy Coach made in England of wood and fiber glass. Sweet dreams here...

The magnetic floating bed with enough magnets to keep 1984 pounds floating in the air. Note is has to be wired to a wall so you don't float away if you roll over in a weird way!

I think I'll stick to my sleep by number bed but I can dream! What's your favorite?
Here's to a fabulous weekend!

Wow, what wild beds! What little girl wouldn't just love Cinderella's coach bed?
I agree with you I will stick with my new bed, even though I need to literally "climb" to get into it, it is so soft!

Love both of these beds....especially the Cinderella Coach. It takes me right back to the Disney movie memories from my childhood! :)

That molecular bed looks pretty nice to me right now. We use a Beautyrest (I think).. my husband has a bad back so we need a really firm mattress.. It's great that your daughter drove all that way to see you!!

I've always believed that through technology and it's constant advancements, anything was possible. But, I never imagined a floating bed. I agree with you. I think I'll stick to one that has actual legs.

Interesting that you post this, because I happen to need another bed. The one I have is very old and doesn't support me well anymore. I've heard good reports about the sleep number bed, but I've also heard the same about other types. I suppose I'll just have to go try different ones.

Oh mother of god, that magnetic bed is so FLIPPIN AWESOME! Although it depends on what magnet it is I think-One is good for you and the other is bad for you...
I like the big poofy bed too =] Now that puppy looks comfortable!
Congrats on your surprise visit-It sounds like you both had an wonderful time catching up.

Alicia: Oh, I would definitely take the floating bed with the fabulous floor to ceiling windows that give a gorgeous view out over the city. I love being able to see the view from my bed - and in our present home the windows in our bedroom are big and low and allow me to the view during wakeful periods.

Plus floating - ahhhh would prefer a cloud, but will settle for a bed.

What a great daughter!

For some reason I really like the first bed - it looks cozy/cocoonish. Maybe I feel the need to be secure right now? However,I really love, love, love my bed at home as far as comfort goes. Thanks, Alicia . . . now I want a nap. :)

What a lovely surprise! Have a great time with your daughter!

That molecular bed looks like it would be fun (although I don't think I could actually sleep on any of them, hee-hee)

Enjoy your time with your daughter!! What a treat, a twelve hour drive is a pretty big trip :) Um, I think there is something really inviting about the blue balls for some reason. I'm all about the cush factor these days and they look like they may be fairly soft!

I love the bed shaped as a circle! I would love to take the bed to the top a big grassy hill, and strap my self in and roll down it! Have a wonderful time with your daughter, good times!

I loved every one of those beds! Can you imagine having a small inn with each bedroom having one of these beds?

How very sweet of your daughter to surprise you. Is there anything better? Really? Enjoy.

Oh, that rocking bed! How cool is that?? As long as it doesn't tip you right out of bed! The magnetic one is also intriguing. Like floating. My bed could use a little of that sensation. :p)

I know a 9 year old that would want the Cinderella bed. I'm not sure I'd trust the magnetic one.

I could seriously sleep in the castle bed!! EVERY NIGHT!! Friday night would rock in this buggy.

I love your new art at the top of the blog. Is this a new or old master? I do not recognize it.

I've slept in a light-house bed. It is at the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake. The bed was inside of a mock light house, so it was a circle.
That ball bed totally looks like you would just get sucked in and stuck!
