Change your mind...

Photo manipulation by Christophe Huet

“Whatever you hold in your mind will tend to occur in your life. If you continue to believe as you have always believed, you will continue to act as you have always acted. If you continue to act as you have always acted, you will continue to get what you have always gotten. If you want different results in your life or your work, all you have to do is change your mind.”

I like that quote! Thanks!
Alicia: Fabulous image to go with your thought today. So true, if you keep doing the same old thing in the same old way, you will surely get the same old result.

Thank goodness we don't have to literally select a different head every day. Doesn't hurt to select a new attitude now and then!

OMG, what a great photo. So simple a thought, yet so hard to do.

Oh, my...were it only that easy! There's an old saying by Napoleon Hill that says, "Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve," which sort of carries thru today's theme. I think I'll conceive & believe that all of my jewelry cases are full and that my butt is a size 8...let's just see how much I can achieve! LOL!
Good post!

Wonderful advice. Thanks I needed that today. Pam
So true! In my case, thinking alot about something does 2 things: I tend to put action behind the thought, & (more importantly, in my opinion) the universe listens & sends me gifts that relate to my thoughts.

Very important to be careful what one thinks about.

Great post!

I think I needed that, especially in my work situation. I've changed so much of myself for the better, but it all goes out the window as soon as I step into the office. I would rather bag groceries then even get up in the morning to come here on some days. I'm either going to change my attitude...or quit (yeah, right). Thank you!!
so true...so very very true...now if it just seemed to be that easy.

The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting a different outcome :) Great photo! Gives a lot more food for thought paired with that quote.

That photo is a little freaky, a little really cool. The concept of the quote couldn't be more true!

I love this. How I would love to shop for a new brain, lol. In lieu of that, I will say that I do try to think outside of the box, even though it can be difficult at times!

I love the quote..so true. I have worked really hard in recent years "changing my mind". I try daily to remember to look ahead instead of back and be present. It's not as hard as it would seem once you decide to do it!! Wonderful powerful post hon!! Thank you!!

What a great quote and so true, Alicia. We so often keep going down the same path and then being upset when we get the same result! Here's to taking a new path with a fabulous result! Love that!

Have a Wonderful Day!

Very true!! I have been pondering new directions lately. I will keep reflecting or make what I have work better. Either change it or learn to make the best of it.

Hi Alicia

this post brought to mind a quote that says:

"Doing the same thing over and over again
and expecting different results is a sure form of insanity."

Happy days
Perfect photo for that quote!

I've tried this before but it never worked for me.

I had extreme trouble taking my head of and replacing it with another.

I do believe positive thinking breeds positive results and negative thinks breeds negative results too.
