How Fun! The people that used to live next door to may folks were hot air balloon enthusiasts. They ofen had their balloon stretched out in their back yard. That's the closest I've ever come to one. They sure a fun to watch when they lift off in large groups, though.

Once upon a time, we lived in a little town where balloon enthusiasts gathered. Every Sunday morning I'd take my croissant & my oj, flop on the fat float, & watch them sail over at sunrise. I haven't thought of those mornings in some time. Thank you for bringing them back to me.

Wishing you a most wonderful day,

I grew up in New Mexico and we would go to the "Balloon Fiesta" every October. It is stunning to see so many hot air balloons in the same place at the same time. How cool!
Those images are so grand and joyful. What an experience to fly above the trees. Now you have me dreaming Alicia - thanks!
wow, those photos are awesome!

OH, I AM SO READY to join you! Here in Kentucky, they have a balloon race each May in conjunction with the Kentucky Derby Festival...only about 40-50 balloon, though. Everyone packs picnic baskets filled with Kentucky Country Ham Quiche, Corn Relish, Home Made Snowflake Biscuits & Mint Juleps, of course. I've never tried bourbon for breakfast, but it's supposed to be heavenly...I'm willing to try, anyway!

Floating off back to work...

Hugs!

Wow, they are beautiful! I wonder what it's like to be in one of those with 328 around, sort of like a new little town or something.

I've always wanted to take photos of hot air balloons rising into the sky early morning.

There is a balloon festival that take place a few hours from where I live but not until March, hopefully I get a chance to go next year.

Never in a million years - or even a million dollars would I go up in a hot air balloon. I hate heights! :)
These pictures are beautiful! Someday I'd love to take a balloon ride.

Wow, i love this post, so dreamy!

I especially love the last 2 pictures, so many balloons!!
I love that one that looks like a cluster made of lots of little ones, its crazy.

Thanks for ur lovely comment on my blog, putting kids in the bath tub with paint is a very creative and practical idea(cleaning wise). When i first read it i was like 'In the bath tub, but thats Wet??!' Now i get it!;)

*gasp* These are some of the most breathtaking photos I've ever seen! There's something about hot air balloons that sends me flying high.

Alicia, thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful prayers earlier this summer. Your visit brought me comfort and helped me heal. I'm sorry it has taken me a while to thank you in person, but I wanted you to know how much it meant to me.

xoxo
