Can't we all get along...

Bobcat & Fawn (Credit Lisa Mathiasen/ Animal Rescue Team)

These two animals, and many others were rescued from the Jesusita fire due to the dedication of volunteer efforts of the Animal Rescue Team and the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network.

Who says we can't learn something from animals?

Thanks for posting such sweet pics. How endearing! And those would be natural enemies in the wild because if I am seeing correctly that is not a little pussy cat, but a baby lynx (maybe bobcat). I think I see the little black tufts on the ears - and those gigantic paws - it has to be some sort of wildcat.

Many of we humans do that for each other too. Just wish it could be a "given" that we humans would always harbor and protect one another.

Adorable!!! I plan to get a pic of the deer in my yard next time they come by to eat my hosta plants.

Amen! Humans (as Mr. Dragon reminds me almost daily) are the only animals who don't have a natural predator ... except themselves. So sad. Don't get me on my high horse (!!!!!). I'm for giving the earth back to the "animals" before it is destroyed forever. (Back to the dragon cave.)

Left on their own... without a role model to whisper "enemy". Sooner or later, kitty's instincts will likely kick in... in a hungry moment. But this is nice symbolism; we are all innocents in the beginning.
