Top of the Mornin'...Monday's Picks

I'm crazy about hats...straw to be specific. I've lived in some very hot climates and needed it just to protect my face from the sun. But I still use them in the summer (I'm thinking and wishing warm here ;D). I couldn't believe the wonderful vintage straw hats available on Etsy so I'll share a few with you.

Edwardian Safari Pith Hat from Back Thennish Vintage

1920's Ribbon Straw Hat from Design Archives

Panama Straw Hat from Florida Garden Gal

Straw Boater from Anti-Nu

Do you wear hats? What's your style?

I love Boaters, I have one in my antique booth right now. I buy them any chance I get.

there is something about straw and wide brimmed hats that puts me on a beach somewhere with a pina colada! i love the last pic esp....very chic and look at me sexy! xoxo
I adore hats! Unfortunately, I also feel a little silly in hats, so I seldom wear them. But, I can't resist trying them on and on and on! These are great hats. Love the boater, I don't have one of those.

oh that first one is SUPER!!!

a friend of mine is taking a millinery class, and i can't wait to see what she turns out!
That one with the starfish is so cute!
I'm kinda boring with hats...I usually just throw on a baseball hat when I'm having a bad hair day!
Wow, that safari hat is fantastic! It never ceases to amaze me the selection of items on Etsy!

These are cool! I just bought a big sun hat from J.Crew to take to Arizona with me - I didn't even think to look on etsy, darn it.

Nice hats...I have a straw cowboy hat nicely worn's survived a few dunkings in the surf! For winter I have a couple of clouch hats that always look classy.
I love the one with the ribbons. I always feel silly in them, but I wish I could find one that looked good.

Those are very cool hats! Did you see the post I put up for the Mad Hatter's Tea party on my blog. You should go and wear one of your hats. It's on Ingrid's blog at Fashion is My Muse. She's doing another one this Saturday. Hope to see you there :)

Those are fun!
I love hats, always have. I have a collection of old millinery covered hats, as well as, a few of my grandmother's velvet and feathered ones.
I prefer to wear big floppy sun hats and will usually pin a flower to them.
